Default Timing cover gasket

Is it necessary to replace the timing cover gasket? I read somewhere on the net that I can reuse the valve cover gaskets. I'll replace the water pump gasket, the head gaskets, and the intake manifold gasket as I have the LSXRT intake. Thanks for the help.

As long as they don't tear when removing, and aren't dried out, if they pass inspection then they can be re-used. I put a dab of GMS in the bottom corners to ensure no leak.
