Hey Good to meet you LTSOFUN and BIGKID! Man some of those trucks were flyin. Trust me, if I didn't have a 14 hour tow back home, the truck would have been out there running too!

What a fun weekend! I rode down with Curt to see him get kicked off the track but it never happened. He kept knocking on the 11 sec door and then went ahead and kicked the damn thing down in front of everyone. Kudos for getting it done Curt. The same goes to Kenny for "the swap" and the new best. I think everyone had a new best. Good work!! All you truck guys were a blast to hang out with. Maybe next time slowverado will be there so i can see this truck ive heard so much about! Oh by the way.....make sure to thumb it through the motor!

I live about 20 minutes from that track. It is a very good 1/8th mile track. Only problem is, they only show to be open on Sundays during the winter.

This is a 1/4 track in east Texas. It shows to be open on Fri, Sat, and some Sundays.

I'm up for a good race, but a 14.9 wouldn't be a good race.

FWIW - I agree w/ Matt on this one. If I were to have run a badass time and didn't have a chance to get home before someone was posting it, I'd be a little pissed. You spend countless hours and dollars in prep for a race, you should at least get the satisfaction from it. If I told someone to post it, thats another matter, but it was still my decision.

I dont care that Jeremy posted my times so end of disscusion about that.
The suspension on my truck is a 2/4 drop w/ cal tracs and helper air bags, nothing special just working on getting it right. The best 60' I had this weekend was a 1.62 and the rest where mid 1.60's execept for the 11.7 pass. My motor is a lq9 with stage 1.5 heads and a 224/228 Futral cam, stock short block. The only thing new is a holley intake with direct port. This weekend I was running the dp 150 and thats it. I also have a 100 dry shot but that was not used this weekend. It would go quicker but that is all coming out in the next week. And just for fun this is all on a stock transmission with a Yank 3000.

I thought I challanged slowverado. I did mistakenly think he ran an ext cab truck,6.0 5.3 4.8 whatever,so far I've shown my tailgate to all of them.Maybe my luck will hold.I'm towing a goose neck trailer to the royse city area and seeing friends around there,Quilan, and Millers Grove. But I think there is a way to match up, Say your abc's before launch,I gave a ford the p an beat him one night.
Thanks for the track info I would like to meet you guy's Jim
