6-700 a month is a nice chunk of change to throw at a project. start with the basics. headers, exhaust, intake, tune, converter, gears.

1) tune
2) boltons cold air intake muffler long tube headers
3) stall 3200 from circle d (mild version) triple disk 34-3600 (wild version)
4) cam 212/218 or 220/220 (mild version) 226/230 or 228/228 (wild version)
5) gears 4.10s(if you drive more than 500 miles a month) 4.56(more fun but not a great DD gear ratio)
6) spray or boost this is a serious step in a fast direction you need a deeper look into specifics.
This! currently on the 3rd step of that list! OP don't waste money on a TB spacer they'll do nothing. Get an intake, and a tune first, I saved up $450 one month and got a tune and custom exhaust, and if you want just get some advance auto coupons and get a spectre intake it'll come out to like $100-$110

Alright I'm gonna order a tuner now. I've been reading up on them and I'm liking the bully dog triple dog gt tuner the best so far. I found one for $395 with free shipping. And I'm gonna order a k&n 57 series CAI I found for $204 with free shipping. I guess those are good choices? And now I'm looking for a cam. I won't a cam that's sounds loud but not like a drag car more like a street/strip

use the search function bud, that is the best thing you can do. A simple search would have given you countless threads with guys saying "don't buy a throttle body spacer of ANY KIND... they are all worthless wastes of money."

asking questions is good, we've all been there and all still ask questions still no matter what level we're at, but doing a simple search before you ask can often give you the answer you need without having to post.

Do not buy a handheld tuner. Get a custom tune. Plenty of good tuners around. And let me suggest Wheatley! You won't be disappointed.

Yea I've found some good info on here. I've read about tunes but most I've read said don't get custom tune till I've did a lot of upgrades. And there's no where close to me really to get a custom tune. So what do I do order a custom tune?
