Throttle body not clean anymore! Oil Catch?

From what I have read, there is an issue with these models and the PCV set up, the can couldnt hurt.

Back on topic (Ban the clown). The catch can looks nice. I would rather have one that opens up, but have one is better then having none at all. Yes buy new hose line, the stuff they give you with the cheaper cans are "junk" (aka S/C Z71). I just installed one on my dad's truck and after 120 miles he had what appeared to be 1/4 cup in it. I think his PCV valve might be bad.

I installed some heavier duty hose and everything seems to be cool so far... And I would imagine his PCV is bad with that much oil collecting. If not the valve, then something has to be.

I have my catch can mounted to the cowl/firewall on an aluminum L bracket that I made...
