throttle body?

Default throttle body?

I have two questions, 1st are the throttle bodies different from the truck 5.3 and a camaro ls1? Where can I get my truck throttle body ported? Both are 2000's Thanks .

The vette and the truck TB's are the same. There is a sponsor on the right that does the porting of the TB's......Not sure which one.

No...the Vette is drive by wire...no cable, and the only truck I've seen that has that are the ones with Traction control.

The F car and truck ones should be the same as long as your truck still has a throttle cable on it, but check and make sure, I have seen some that are slightly different as far as how the arm on the side of the TB.

Correct.


The Vette unit is much different.

The F-bod and 5.3L truck look the same. (My T/A and C5 are 00', truck is 01')

The older F-body MAFs from 98' are different in the way the cables hook to the trottle arm like stated above.

Uhh, the 03 and 04 trucks are drive by wire as well. My 03 GMC is anyway!!

Maree, if you have never ported anything yourself i would have someone with some sort of experience do it. i've done several myself, and there's pics on my site of 1 that i'm working on. if you have an extra TB i'd probably help ya out with that....email me or PM me and we can talk about it.
