Default Thorley headers for VHO

Would these be a good buy? What models are compatible with the 6.0?

I'd say go with ASM's,dynatech,or TOG(mid-lengths)heard the TOG's add a bunch of power/tq and seem to work well!!

The Thorley design is for good low end torque and mid range power while the togs and asm are good mid range and higher rpm power. What are you goals for the headers, that should help you make your decision. I pull a car trailer about 12-14000 miles a year so I went with the Thorley's, lowered my cruise luckup in OD by 200 rpm. Added Corvette servo and billit OD servo and lowered my cruise OD lockup another 200 rpm.

I've had the Thorley 310-CY on my K2500 Yukon XL for a year now. They're good broad band headers. You can see my pictures on my web page http://community.webshots.com/user/sbryant2100 .

it looks like you removed the cats. I will probably keep the cats on. Do you have any installation tips? I am keeping an eye on ebay waiting for a cheap set to come up so I can grab them.

No, this is on a 3/4 ton truck and the cats are under and behind the passenger seat.
