Default Thorely Tri-Y's???

I think I have decided to go with the Thorely Tri-Y's on my 01 5.3 but I cant decide if the ceramic coated ones are worth the extra cash. Summit sells the chrome ones for $429.99 (in stock) and the ceramic ones for $546.99 (have to order from Thorely will prob take 2-3 weeks) Does anyone have these (chrome or ceramic) ?? I want to get them soon before I start to put the front end back together so I have more room to work. THANKS!!!!

Get the Ceramic ones they look much nicer for ever the chrome ones turn blue in areas unless appearance doesnt matter to you.

I have the Chrome and have had no problems...install took about 3 hr including a change of plugs. After 9K they still look and sound OK. Remember to retorque them (or any new header) after they have been on a week.

Default Looks!

I really don't care too much about looks but I dont want them to rust. With the ceramic ones did you notice a decrease in engine bay temps??? Also where did you guys buy them??

Ive got the chrome ones. Ive had a few probs though. For one, when my ac is on you can hear a rattling sound outside. Also I makes some noise when I turn the wheel sharply. The midrange gains are great.

I would go with the ceramic just so I felt better about any extra heat and the better protection.
