Default Think This Is Reasonable Goal?

First off last year I clicked off a 15.1 @ 93 with a 2.3 short time
On a 100 shot I did 13.6 @ 101 with the same short time

Those runs were done as my truck sits right now and on my heavy *** BOSS 20"ers.

I'm thinking about doing a couple mods to try and just make this truck a lil more fun to drive around. I drive it 80 miles round trip a day, and its gotta haul my Banshee around so I'm not lookin for anything crazy (plus I'm poor).

Replace the 3.42s with some 4.10s
Put my TB stall in
Throw a mild cam in there, like a LS6 cam
Run on my 16" fronts and 15" with slicks out back

Think I can touch the 13s on motor? That's kind of seems far-fetched. I'm thinking between the wheel/tire combo change, the 4.10s, and the TB stall I should be able to 60 foot a whole lot better (I never spun off the line when I was cuttin those 2.3s ). It'd be great to just go low 14s like that. What do yall guys think, any suggestions?

I'll also spray multiple 100 to 150 shots while I'm up there and see what happens

a 150 shot would be fine on your 4.8... taking those 20's off and adding gears will take a lot of time off as well.... 13's on motor is possible but you'd probably need more cam and stall than youre talking about there...

I have that 221/221 .558/.558 on a 112 camshaft that I had posted for sale...

It's not sold yet, so I could throw that in there. I just don't know how rowdy it would be with a TB stall. Or what it would do to highway fuel mileage...

You need a bigger stall and some 4:10's and stick tires.......or just buy my turbo kit

I bought some 4.10s yesterday... I'm thinking for tires I'll buy some cheap steel 15"ers and just borrow some slicks from somebody around here...

Looking at a Comp Cam 212/218 .522/.529 114

I think this would work a lot better for me then my current MTI cam.
