my K&N has a growl but with any exhaust you wouldnt be able to hear it anyway. the K&N was free but if i would of had a choice i would of gotten a volant.

None. Build your own. Get parts and pieces of two or three different CAI's, put them together and make your own. Look @ sig. Just an idea.

the k&n cai just growl and the tb spacer is the one that makes it whistle alot if you want a good tb spacer or a t&t motorsports spacer there cheap and sound louder than the airaid and poweraid and helix but they wont help you out performance wise they just make sound

I agree with building you're own being the most cost effective. On the other hand I love how my MAC Performance CAI looks and it gave a noticeable difference.

why woul dyou want it to whistle? if your looking for more performance a close element filter box will be best becasue it gets its air from the fender well not the engine compartment, these will also be quieter becasue the sound will be blocked by the air box. your not going to see any intake outperforming another by big numbers. there may be a 1-2 hp between different makes. imo a homeade intake is a good choice if you take the time to do it correctly. i recently made my own intake and air box for my vortech and it came out pretty nice
