Say homes....I will be coming from Hwy 6 and I 10. Is this park up North, East, West, or South?

I know the Houston area a bit from where I am out West. I can get to the Galleria (sp?), Rice, Riveroaks, Downtown, etc. I am familiar with 59, Beltway 8, Loop 610, and I 10. So I have a pretty decent base of the area.

South. I wouldnt rely on mapquest. I used to live right around ya westheimer/dairy ashford....its easy dun worry.

(if you're willing to spend about 2.75? - faster way)

From I-10 go down hwy 6 (south) to westheimer. Take westheimer all the way to beltway 8. Hop on beltway 8 going south, ALLLLL the way to 288. You need to exit 288 (its right after a toll booth). You will then go under the overpass of 288, keep going, but stay in the right lane. Shortly after going under the overpass, you will see a wooden sign that says "tom bass park". Take a right into there and just follow the paths. When you see abotu 10 silverados lined up, youre at the right place.

(if you're not willing to spend about 2.75? - long way)

Hope on I-10 and go East. Keep going all the way till you reach 610. Take 610 south ALLLLL the way till you reach 288. Take 288 South. Go all the way till you come up to beltway 8. Exit for beltway 8. Go under beltway 8 and turn left (going under 288), and stay in the right lane. Then you will see a sign, "tom bass park".

Its right there where beltway 8 and 288 cross.

I'm gonna hop on I10 then to 8, Westheimer is traffic city and Memorial is soooooo slow. Is 288 past the 59 offramps?

I do have an EZ Card so the Beltway is my friend.

I'll be bringing a couple of 12 packs of Dr. Pepper and Sprite. Maybe some Cherry Cokes for myself but if anybody else wants some, say so and I will bring more.
