Depends what you're wanting to do. You don't have to have a vic jr to run a "250shot" I've put more than a 300 through my stock truck intake with a 78mm nitrous outlet plate. A vic jr is definitely not the best intake to use a traditional plate on anyways.

If your goal is to just change intakes, save some money and get a tbss intake. If you're just wanting to say you run a 250shot, then save a lot of money and use your stock intake.

The $1k or so it will end up costing you to switch to a vic jr is definitely better being spent on other supporting mawds
