Default TBSS intake/TB swap on a 2004 GMC Yukon questions

I've done some searching and reading about this swap and are there any alternatives to buying a X-link 8pin to 6 pin adapter?

Yeah, just buy a throttle body adapter and run your stock TB.

I read somewhere there was a 4 bolt throttle body that will bolt up and doesnt need an x link but i think they are rather rare.

I guess I could do that for now while I decide if I wanna switch to the 87mm
