TBSS intake swap on 03 LQ9 6.0
I'm doing a TBSS/NNBS intake swap (pn 25383922) on my 03 escalade ext LQ9 6.0. I have done a similar swap before but it was on a newer model truck (06 model). This truck uses a fuel rail with a regulator on it and return line. I am having the intake ported right now but have not found a fuel rail that will be tall enough to clear the new style 87mm intake. I already have the TB on my current intake using an X-link and an adapter plate (3 bolt to 4 bolt). Does anyone make a fuel rail that will work or do I have to resort to modifying my original one? Are there any other things I need to consider with this swap? What about taller injectors with the same connector? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use the TBSS/NNBS rail with a corvette fuel filter. The vette filter has an internal regulator and works with return style fuel systems.

Thanks for the response. Do you know the part number of the corvette filter? Does it regulate the fuel pressure to the same as the 03 LQ9? I know the 06 and newer GM trucks run at a little higher fuel pressure. Just wondering if it would be beneficial to bump mine up?
