Default TB for fast lsxrt??

I've convinced myself I cant live without this intake but as I look for 102mm throttle bodies I find the Nick Williams...Every place I've found the TB I see I need the "harness adapter" I figured this, thing is its a $60 add on everywhere...What is this harness? Why is it $60 and every thing else I am considering needs the $200 dr x link...whats the difference? Thanks!!!!

What year truck do you have???
The gen 3 trucks will need a harness for it to work right.. The gen 4 trucks wont need it..
The cheaper harness only opens the TB 80% vs the xlink 100% on the gen 3 trucks..
