If all you want is a 1/4 mile number run a tr224 and a 3000 fuddle with 410s should get high 12s in a 2wd xtracab...been done by adrenalinep 12.8 at 103 or 104

Default 325rwhp

325 rwhp is what my 5.3 with just about the same set up as yours just made. With a custom ground cam from Comp. The specks are at .050 int 214 ex 220. / lift int at .559 / ex 0564. This was a custom grind a few years a go but I have seen one on the market like this now. Stock trans 3.42 rear end, it about the some as stock on the bottom till you hit 3000 and it just start pulling harder and harder form there. I have the shift for wfo at 5800 so that about 98 going in to third gear. Elect fans and 6 speed auto are what I'm hoping to do next.

I say go for it..what do you have to lose?

I'm going to be swapping out my Custom Ground version of the vinci trucker cam 216/224 .551 .551 on a 110 lsa for a TR 220/220 .551 .551on a 112 just to run while i build my LQ9.... I think it would be worth the effort

well guess what its done.. truck wouldnt idle and all i was able to feel was a bit more top end on it.. i went to temecula this saturday to get it dyno tuned by justin but tranny failed on my way there... so all he did was adjust my idle and just started the tune on the dyno but we werent able to finish.. getting my tranny fixed soon.. just dont know when i just dont have the money rt now. but as soon as i do ill keep everyone posted.. by the way i pretty much did my own cam swap. nothing hard.. the TR tools make it super easy... hope i can have her back up and running so i can c if i gained anything on the new cam..
