Default Sway Bars

Are they worth the money. Where are the best place to get them?

I'll tell you within the next few days wether or not I feel its worth it. Put my front one on and could feel a difference, but not alot. I think adding a rear will help greatly. They are Belltech sways

What about the Hellwig bars? Even though they're solid (and the Hotchkis bars are hollow) and therefore weigh a couple of pounds more, I've heard nothing but good things about the Hellwigs.

I have the Hotchkis sways and I love em. The truck doesn't dip or lean when taking corners. I can take 90* turns at about 40MPH with little to no slipping. Floor it around a corner with an Eaton Posi and hold on....very fun
You're going to spend around $500 for just those Hotchkis sways.
The Hellwigs are cheaper, but I've read on other forums (FSC.com) that they had problems with em.

What exactly sucks about helwig?

The only things Ive seen that are bad is that you have modify to mount, where the hotchkis is bolton.

Although I have now experience with them, I have read that the Helwigs mounting brackts tend to break.
I have a Hotchkis rear bar only and made a significant difference in stability even with the Hotchkis springs.

Yea, and they tend to break or loosen up easily so you'll have to keep getting under your truck and re-torque the bolts.
Like I said, those are just others' experiences. I have no personal experience with the Hellwigs

Just finished putting the rear bar on.........and just taking it around the block and down a slightly curvy road......It feels like a whole new truck. Very minimal body roll if any and seems to take the bumps better (less squirelly for sure)

I would recommend any bar you can get ahold of (obviously Hotchkis or Belltech would be my first picks). The rear most importantly but both if you can.
