Default swapping from a 4.3

i know this has probably been asked 3000 times but i've been messing around in the search for a good 15 minutes trying to find info..

my truck currently has a 4.3 (2000 silverado) and is a show truck.. i'm about to tear it down to do a complete rebuild on so while its all apart i'd like to put in a 5.3 or 6.0.. what all would i need to pick up? wiring harness, pcm, etc etc? i honestly dont have a clue.. do i need a new ignition? if there is a thread covering all of this could you just give me a link to that thread so i can read up?

or does anyone know possibly a roundabout price of what a shop MIGHT charge?
