well igot the 6.0 running .really rough idle ,crappy,any sugg for that onetill i tune it.but back to the subject,i installed a comp 218/221 541 cam in it before i put in .,its like a surge now between gears it seems to be wanting to take off but something is holding it back a little you can literrally feel it ,the motor is strong but this is still happening like it wants to go even more .could it be the single into dual pipes 2 1/2 in dual 2 1/2 out .im open for suggestions.the motor only had 400 miles on it when i put it in .dont tell me the famous TUNE could have something to do withthis.

 

Well, i'm going to say it anyway. A cammed 6.0 is going to run like *** on a stock 4.8 tune. Get it tuned and go from there.

 

did you have any problems when you put in youre lq4 like this?

 

None at all. I had a mail order tune ready at the time I replaced my engine. The mail order tune was close enough for it to run very well until I could get it to my tuner and dyno tune it.

 

mine ran like crap on a 5.3L tune...
