dunno bout the trucks.. i believe there is a gain in the shifting like said above. But as far as the tuning goes im sure thats pointless. They claimed 18hp on ls1's.. we had a dyno day oneday and well the cars actaully LOST HP with the tuning installed! The only reason I would want the programmer is to raise my shift points.. I was gonna get the edit since I have one slot left on my cable, but thats 200+ another 100 bucks for some type of new cbale you have to have.. so that blows.. Cant afford 490bucks for the tune nelson qouted me either

Nothing is cheap these days

untill someone actaully dynoes before and after after the PCM has relearned that day then we will neve rknow the HP gains..

as far as et's go.. we all know how 60's can affect the timeslip big time. I could cut a 2.4 60ft in the car and run 12's.. come back to pits and blow out the air filter.. go back and cut a 1.6 and run 11.4's and think the filter made that differece LOL.

also, DA gonna play with et's by 2-3 tenths also.. if its 80 oneday and 60's the next, then thats 2 tenths right there

I agree that is really not possible, but I'm not calling anybody a liar over it either. I think that different "things" happened on each run.

Exclamation

I just got my VHO personally tuned by Nelson this evenning.
I had my doubts, but man let me tell you something....that guy knows tuning.
My truck pulls extemely harder than it did before Nelson's tune. The shifts are more firm too. My Hypertech programmer I had in the past doesn't even come close to compare.
All I need to say is, if you need a tune or if you want more power without tearing yourr engine apart, Nelson is very highly recommended.
