Supercharger Dilema!!!
#12
man a sts more than a radix. that seems weird. give nelson performance a call. he is in san antonio and he is an sts dealer and there preferred tuner. i thought that an sts was around 3900.00. maybe with a few upgrades a little more. i thought that a radix started out at 5150.00. and the radix takes longer to install than an sts as well.

well my buddy got an extremely good deal on a d1 for like 3k i think with the intercooler kit and all so that is defianately what i would do and i like the magnachargers but would rather have the more top end power of the procharger but the turbo kits especially those new livernois seem pretty damn stout especially for that price

I'm very happy with my radix experience. It drives just like stock at low throttle. Yet I can get near instant power at any rpm. The low end gains from the radix really make it fun to drive. A procharger, and turbo to some extent, will need you to run up the rpms before the boost rolls in. Most procharger vehicles actually loose some power at low rpms. The procharger and turbo setups have a better chance of making a higher peak HP number though.
If you plan staying with the LQ9 in your truck, then the radix will give it all it can take. If you go larger motor, or lower compression, then the other systems will allow you to make upgrades to increase boost.
Don't pay $7400. I live 10 minutes east of you in Forney. I'll buy you a new Radix and install it for $6400. I'll also custom tune it with my wideband and flashscan. Deal?
You can do the install yourself in a day. Its not difficult and doesn't require any fancy tools.
