Default Summit Racing LS RPO Code Database

Did you know we offer a database on LS engine RPO codes? We know some members use it since we’ve seen you share the info in your posts. That’s great, we’re here to help everyone be more knowledgeable about these engines. If you weren’t aware, we’re here to show it and shed light on it.

First things first, where is this database and how do I find it? It’s in our Help Center and can be found by searching Identify Chevy LS Engines by VIN.
What’s in the database? We have Gen 3 and 4 engines listed. The RPO codes are broken down by generation, car or truck, and block material. To give you an idea of what it looks like see the chart below.

So you know your RPO code what other info can it provide? We have a plethora of info on all the RPO codes. Click the blue RPO code and it will take you to a page on that specific code. This page will provide a ton of info on the given code. Everything from performance specs, applications, block specs, rotating assembly, heads, cams, etc. You name it we have the info and then some.

Here’s a hint at what a RPO code page will look like.

Don’t know your VIN and need to identify your engine? Check out our Identify LS engine by inspection article. This walks you through how to identify an LS by its external features. It will guide you through each step. The end result typically provides a few possibilities and provides an intro page to view the differences of those particular engines.

These are tools that our representatives use on a day to day basis. We figured if it’s helpful to us it’s helpful to our customers and fellow forum members.
