Default Suggestions please!

Alright, I've got a 4.8 that I would like to see put out 300 to 325 hp at the wheels. I want to keep it n/a for as long as possible, simply because a sts turbo or a supercharger would be too expensive. This pup is my daily driver, so I can't go too crazy.

Right now I have thorley headers, magnaflow exhaust, and a wait4me tune. I'm planning on getting a cam in the near future, but what else do y'all recommend to achieve my goal? Is it even possible?

type in SLE-28001
you get some stickers with it and a good idea of what will be needed to reach the 330 mark in a 4.8

Nope, it wont. Will need a cam and long tubes. Maybe a tad more.

was hoping you mit go the cheaper nos route because 2299.99 is just too damn much for a cat back, 1.8 rockers, shorty headers, and a predator tune.
oh and a set of 330 hp stickers.

the best easy way is to drop in a 6.0 and add a few mod's.

if you want to keep the 4.8
long tube headers
30 lbs injectors
comp 918 springs
7.4 push rods
big cam
LS6 heads
cold air intake
93 oct performance tune
that may get you close to 330 rwhp, now if you had a 5.3 I would say yes it would.

if it was me I would invest the money in to a 5.7 or a 6.0 and really build a strong motor to put in to the truck, now i know some really want to build a bad *** 4.8 but if you put all of the same mods on a 5.7 or a 6.0 the horse power will be allot higher and it will bolt right in.

-edit-

No, on second thought, I'm not going to drop a 6.0 in my pickup anytime soon, if ever. So I need to focus on what I can do to this 4.8, keeping in mind that its a daily driver, fuel mileage, and no nos. But I do appreciate the help though. I just think that while a LS1 or 6.0 sweet, such a swap would be too much hassle at this point (fulltime job and fulltime college).

I baby my truck. I give it a bottle whenever it cries for more power. You have small cubes. You need to get a power adder unless you like spending $$$ and seeing little to no change in ET . I spent 600 for converter
100 for transgo and servo
400 for drag tires
280 for k&n
100 for magnaflow
Then 350 for used N2Okit

The 1500 bucks gave me .5 in the 8th
the 350 dollars gave me a Full second.
Just my 2 cents, GOOD LUCK!
