Hey everybody just wanting to get some suggestions-I am switching my exhaust up(mufflers)for now and wanted to get some input. I currently have AS&M LT's gutted cats,and dual flow's. I was thinking of getting a custom Y pipe setup to get rid of the stocker. Im just unsure of what mufflers to run there are so many choices but I have to say I like the loud aggressive sound but im tired of the flows. All suggestions are welcome im probably going to get something done next week sometime!! Thanks All.

X- pipe and 14" Magnapacks would be loud and agresive. Or Dynomax bullets

 

Bassani all the way. I've had the magnapack and they pop pretty bad after awhile. If I was you I would do a 3 inch in dual 2 1/2 out with tips dumped from muffler. I will gaurantee you will love it. Make sure you get the 4x8x16 case. I had some custom made that are 4x8x12 and I love them.

 

I actually have been considering going back to a single muffler since I still have my 4x8x12 muffler with tips sitting in the garage. Just becasue I ma crazy and I like my truck loud but clean.

Ive got a 3" single magnaflow, its a short round racing muffler.

 

i have pace longtubes no cats with a 3" custom ory to a 40 series flowmaster dumped before the axle sounds tinney kinda like an old muscle car. i thought about changing the muffler for something a little quieter also

 

Why not just put on a SLP Loudouth resonator like the F-body guys do? And then three months later, buy a Dynomax bullet to quiet it down?

That should give you an idea of how loud that LM is. A GLASSPACK quiets it down! LOL,

Man I thought about that but I had it on my camaro with LT's, off road Y and X1 cam and it was insane loud almost annoying at the same time. Not sure if I want it that way on my truck but I may do it just becasue I am crazy like that!! I will see what happens!
