Default stupid light!

my check engine light has been on forEVER! i put my code reader on there and code 307 popped up with a misfire on cylinder 7. I swapped the coil out with cylinder 4 and its still reading misfire on 7. Changed plugs and its still the same thing. bought new wires and STILL! what can be causing this? also as i'm driving it will sometimes blink which i'm guessing thats when the misfiring is happening?

you dont have a broken valve spring on #7?
meaning you changed plug ,wire and swapped coil and still have the issue

I would do a quick compression test (infamous #7.....), and I'd also swap the injector to another cylinder.

It seams that you guys have experience on the situation, but a blinking check engine light usually means a danger to engine/emissions system.. damaged springs or injectors qualify as engine/emissions danger..

Actually, a flashing check engine light means the misfire is "catalyst damaging". Which usually involves unburned fuel getting into a cat. A bad injector CAN cause this(and isn't uncommon), and so can a cracked piston. There are several things that can cause it.
