My STS kit is on the way for my '02 Yukon Denali!! I went back and forth for a few weeks on the STS/Radix deal. I read every post, talked to many of you and a few shops. It basically came down to a coin toss and the fact that I will probably want to tweak on the kit even further in the future. I'm sure I'd be extremely happy with either. Plus a turbo V8 just plain sounds like it's going to be fun!!
Basic Kit plus:
GT-67
Methanol Injection
Electronic Boost Controller
A couple of questions if anyone can answer:
1. What type/brand of 42# Injectors are "we" using in the trucks? I understand all 42#'ers are not created equal.
2. Fuel Pump: I've heard pros/cons for a basic Walbro intank and an external (like the Radix kit). Any thoughts? Supposedly the intank is cheaper but costs more for labor. The external is more expensive by a couple hundred but saves the labor pulling the tank, cutting lines, etc...
3. What is the highest boost I can run "safely"? I know, I know...
I'll probably run around 6psi most of the time and 9psi for the fun times.
4. Anyone with a stock 6.0, what kind of power did you put down with the STS and what mods/extras were you running at the time?
(I asked a couple of these previously, but now that I actually OWN the kit, I really want to know some ideas/opinions)

You can use an inline pump with some misc fuel lines and fittings and it shouldn't be hundreds more.
You need the 8.1L marine 42 pound truck injector. Its a Multec II stule injector that shorter and has a different plug connector compared to the Bosch car type injectors.

I've always gone by the rule of thumb that inline pumps keep your fuel pressure consistent but can't pump more fuel than the stock pump can. Since you'll still be in the the limits of the flow rate for the stock pump, the inline should be fine. If you ever plan to step up past that level (500hp I believe) you'll need an intank pump (which does flow more than the stock pump).
I had racetronix injectors on mine (they are still Multitec II stubbies, like the regular 8.1 marine).
