Thumbs up STS Turbo 4.8

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=331317 WOW!!!! Ok here is the run down:

forged 4.8 liter 8.5-1CR, STS T67 turbo, custom fmic, built 4l60e, 216 cam, ported heads, 4:11 gears. Here is a link to the dyno sheet.
This was at 15lbs with crappy timing and 89 octane This thing moves. I need a catch can to help relieve the crank cast presure and get my wide band in. Then we can run lots more timing and more boost. How much more???? We will see in about 3 weeks

Thanks goes out to Don Kinder of Dez Racing. He is the man that put all this together. Thanks Don

Thanks. And the best part was NO KNOCK. I dont think I will need meth. My intake temps were 94* at the top of 3rd floored. I guess that big *** fmic works

Congratulations Matt, very nice numbers on the very best of fuel no less. J/K

Good luck with it and have fun. Keeps us informed of your progress. It has been a long time but it looks like it might just be worth the wait.

Your welcome Matt The truck has alot left in it.I know it will take 18-20lbs no problem on pump gas As for Meth,I don't think it will be necessary.Maybe a 50shot in the future to help out of the hole though

Phweew! I'm still making more HP and TQ at the wheels! Not for long though, I'm sure... 1 more lb of boost will probably do it! Oh, and I won't even comment that you're 2000lbs lighter. Oh, too late!

Anyway, congrats, looks like a fun project!!
