Can that set-up be used for towing when it's called for?
How much did that complete turbo set-up cost???

Either way: It sounds nice and the strange placement is different, but I like it.
Thumbs up for cool look too!

Jim

Are you serious?? LOL

The work Pretty well!

My trucks coolest (slowest) launch ever!

Kenny's 10sec GTO

Do a search. You'll find tons of info. Hell even Jerry's TANK of a truck is running fast and tows a trailer that most big rigs would cringe at. LOL

Jim, you can read all about these kits at www.ststurbo.com

They'll start out at around $3900 for the "basic" kit. On top of that you can add: Methanol, Injectors, Tune, Plugs, Trans, Stall, Gauges, Bigger Turbo, etc... The cost when you add it all up?? I'm too afraid to do that!

Can it tow? I drag a 8500# fithwheel with mine. You hardly know it's there. Plus get better gas mileage to boot.

What's so hard about just telling me what you paid for the STS turbo system?
Also not a lot of forced air induction systems are designed for towing.
If you have instant torque from 1500 rpm's, then that is ideal for towing.

For the "STS Turbo System" I paid about, let's see, roughly $3800. With this I got: Turbo, Piping, and I added the STS Methanol Injection (included in that price).

Grippy, since you were making fun of my ***, I cleaned it up a bit...

I had previously removed the GMC badge and liked how it cleaned up the other side, so I decided to go "all clean". I like it. Keeps everyone's focus on the license plate!!

You need a Vortec High output emblem on the back.
Do you have any before and after HP/ TQ gains to post?

No badges, just clutters up the look! I had the "6.0 Turbo" badge like I have on the side, then "Yukon" right under it. They looked good, but I just really like how clean it is now.

Before HP/TQ: 280/304
After HP/TQ: 471/526

That's a gain of nearly 200hp and 220tq at the wheels. All 4 wheels!
