Well, for starters, you could give us just a little hint of what you drive.

How about a little more detail. Stoking a 5.3 won't be cheap. Most of the LS1 kits will work, just a different piston size. What goal do you have in mind? When are you wanting to do it? Where are you located?

you're a little vague here man...give all the details of your truck...it'll cost atleast 3-4 grand to build a stroker motor.

i wouldn't bother stroking that 5.3, for just a couple more bucks you can do a 6.0 and get even more displacement.

not sure how far you can bore a 5.3 but lets just say you take it out to 3.90", you can take a 6.0 out to 4.040 easy and 4.060 usualy(not recomended for blown or nitrous set ups)

you can stroke any of these motors to 4" easy(but not cheap), you can even goto 4.125 but there may be some issues going this large but i am not sure what they are.

3.90 x 4.0 = 382
3.90 x 4.125 = 394
4.040 x 4.0 = 410 < my favorite with boost/nitrous
4.060 x 4.0 = 414 < my favorite NA
4.040 x 4.125 = 423
4.060 x 4.125 = 427

the price of a 6.0 block is just a drop in the bucket for the project you are looking at, like 1/4 the price of the crank.

a stock 6.0 is 364 cubic inches...if you stroke a stock 6.0 (4" stroke) you get a 402, that would be a nice setup with a good cam heads and the right drive train.

what i am saying is if your are going for more cubes and stroking it you might as well get the bigger bore a 6.0 offers you too. since your buying most of the parts anyways to stroke a 5.3 it is only about $500 more(for the 6.0 block) to do a 6.0 and get another 30cubes or so.
