I'd peep into getting both the 1-2 and 3-4 aluminum accumulator pistons. I think they are the same.

You rock. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Snot a problem, I'm a lil out of it as I just woke up.
BTW... I'm just like Mudz with the setup, GIT-R-DONE the first time. When I get that stall there's a few other stuff I'm going to do to the valve body and what not. I'll keep everyone posted on it.

I've heard mixed views on the billets in the trans section here on the site. Word is that 99% of tranny builders say, "stay away from billets, but go with the 'vette". I'm still up in the air.
I'll probably do the vette servo one of these days, just for the heck of it.
Just as an FYI for myself - do you guys with billets and shift kits prefer hard shifts?
My ideal shifts would be near-instant, near-seamless, without any spike in driveline force... Just like how a motorcycle gearbox shifts just by snapping the throttle open and closed, without using the clutch.
Listen to how a pro-stock car sounds - Just like that.
I don't know if the 4L60 series trannies are capable of that, or how to set it up.

That would be the way I wouild love for mine to be. My shifts do get a little spin on the street on the 1-2. I can feel it ry and pick the front of the truck up some when it shifts, but at part throttle, I wouldn't call it excesive by any means.

My shifts are great with the billets too. Just stay away from the TransGo washers in the 1-2 accumulator to keep the shifts tame. I had one washer with the billet intermediate and it was annoyingly harsh. Mudz5.3 did also. The key is HAD.
Recall also, I'm TqMgt free with just a few bolt-ons and have ~75K mi on the tranny now also. I've the the TransGo and both billets.
