I am looking into buy a set of stock ls1 heads and porting them is it worth the truoble. the heads will be from 100-450 and port work 450-600 so a total of 550-1050 not too much money but the install will be time consuming and an install kit is 250 so im looking at 8-12 hrs of work and 800-1300 dollars installed. I dont even know if the hp gains will be that graet has anybody gone this route. I also need to know what heads i should look for ls1 5.7, 5.3,4.8 or are they all the same what size CC do they have need info bad.

For the money you can get a set of STG I or even II heads from many of the sponsors to the right ------> that will be tons better.
