Default stock cam specs for 4.8?

anyone know the specs on a stock 4.8 cam? my cousin was wondering if he used the cam from my lq4 if he would see ANY gains at all

191/190,.457/.466 with a 114 LS I think it is this I have been researching cams all day but don't quote me on it.

I really doubt that it would be worth doing. I'm sure a used LS6 cam could be had for a song if he's on a budget.

lol, he doesnt care, hes got his 01' stang to dum his money into, so he just wants a little even if just like 5hp for towing in his 1500

yes stock 6.0 cam is similar to a vette cam.

In that case, I definitely wouldn't bother with it. He's probably got a better chance of losing than gaining low-end power with that cam.

didnt the 99 4.8's come with a different cam than newer 4.8's?

Now that's a different story. The combination of that cam and new rockers and he'd probably see some decent gains. Still not really sure if it will be helpful for towing though.
