Just cut a lage hole in the bottom so it sucks fresh air from fender area..you can even run some flex tube to the fog lamp area for a ram air effect.

But as of now running on my old tune it slowed down 4mph and 4tenths
I'm sure its all jacked up because its bringin in a lot more air than it thinks.. With a retune it should make a big difference I would think

Where can you just get the tube going from tb to filter? Is there any gain making it out of 4" tube?

It has to pick up some.. I've got the intake and everything I just need to buy some 42lb'rs and the harness and I will be ready to roll ..

Here's how I did mine. Cut it as much as possible. I also cut the steel bracing underneath, as much as I could without affecting it's strength, anyway. I use a Fram AirHog air filter and an Airaid intake tube. Works great as per my datalogs.

As you can see in Pic#1, I can turn the angle of the horn, then I beep the horn for an extra 2rwhp, LMAO!

I wish I could do that, Id be afraid of getting my filter wet in the mud/streams out on some of the land I drive on.
