Ok i am learning a lot about my truck on here and trying to learn more. At first i wanted some simple add ons for a little more perfomance. Now i figure i should just go all out. I have an 2006 Vortec MAX. I pull a camper 5000 pound camper a few times a year. I use to be pretty handy but haven't touch to many trucks since i sold my '79 F250. I would love to make my truck a 13 sec truck without nitrous and losing my *** when i am pulling the camper. Another problem I might have is it has a 6 inch lift with 33x12.5 nitto mud grapplers on it. What should/could i do?

 

if you want to continue to pull and keep the lift you wont get fast but you can make it more efficient and safer.

Transmission cooler
Shift kit on lowest setting
Gears, something like 4.56
a good tune

these things will help
