Mill them, or leave them... It will run a bit better and feel a little "snappier" with more compression... But will run just fine untouched. Its all up to your wallet... Which head casting do you have?

Ill be honest with you, you aren't going to feel enough difference in two cams with 2 degrees of difference in duration to warrant the big life changing decision lol... Ex: 216 or a 218... The difference will be there with the cam I mentioned... There have been 4.8s rev to the moon with the shorter stroke, I've persnally wanted to experiment with one in a VERY light setup. You will have good bottom end and plenty of cam to take you in the upper RPM with that grind. That converter will be the icing on the cake

You can put them on that motor but you will run into slight valve shrouding problems as they are intended to go on a stock LS1 bore. But some run them and claim gains... You will LOSE compression though since the chambers are quite a bit bigger...
I just re-read the whole thread... What's everybodys hang up on a TT3000 converter? I know they have their use but they're far from great IMO... Drive a 3600 and 3800 converter with a properly. Matched cam and gear, ill put money down that you'll throw rocks at that super tight TT3000, I drove one a couple days ago and didn't even know it had a stall after getting out of mine lol... Seems like Inch-Ups stock is better theories are running rampant on a website meant to encourage aftermarket modification and experimentation lol...

and i ran a 3k stall and ya it was a little tight but i didnt have any complaints about it. i ran it cause i figured it would be a letter better for everyday drivability. but i think i just may bump it up to about a 3200-3400 this time. we shall see though once i start getting everything i need together..

oh ok so i guess ill just stick with my stock heads or find another set of stock heads an have them milled some..

Yeah, he specd me a PTE3200 for my turbo setup that runs anywhere from $950-$1000... Ill pass
The SS series is about 700, or was when I bought mine, its a 9.5in converter and a proven performer in the truck setups.... And great on nitrous which is what he's planning, and what I originally bought mine for a year and a half ago.
