I was going to suggest those mufflers. How do they sound? Did you lose much power?

So I'm adding a pair of

Cutouts... I'm considering running piping from the cutout to the back bumper to keep a little of the straight exhaust noise down.

They are a lot quieter, but the drone puts most truck subs to shame. Drones like crazy 1200-1700. They are coming off for some OEM mufflers so I can enjoy driving it again.

My big body Magnaflow is pretty quiet, can't even hear it until over 2800 rpm.

I have a magnaflow XL 3 chamber muffler that is 30 inches long I think... single 3" in and dual 2.5" out.. the truck also has AR headers and high flow cats and then that muffler... It sounds really clean I love it! Not too loud... but still a nice tone and no drone either.

You could try a couple of these Borla XR-1's, 3" I/O, 34" X 8.5" X 5.5" case. At $460 each, they are not cheap, though.

The truck goes back in Tuesday for another shot at Muffling the sound. The Super Turbos might have been OK but its drone city with them. It gives my a head ache after a bit.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I'm not sure which mufflers I'm going with on Tuesday. I'll have to make my mind up tomorrow..

Does anyone have a picture of the stock TBSS muffler. Is it a 3" dual in single out?
