Stealth II Cam
#1
Out of curiousity, what is your guys' take on the MTI stealth II cam (224/220 @ .050, .581/.581 on a 116 LSA in a 5.3L (02 Z71 Tahoe on 33's with 3.73's). I have heard many good things about this cam, and was going to run it in a turbo 347, but have since sold that engine and building a TT 408 for my 67 bird. Anyway, I have the cam, but am contemplating using it. What is your idea as far as california smog. I know this thing hardly lopes in an ls1, but I know it will affect that little 5.3 a little more, but should still be okay as far as overlap with that hgih LSA and reverse split pattern. Smog, performance? Ideas? Thanks guys!

I personally think its too big for the tahoe.... unless you put a converter in it... I would stick with a 212/218, those seem to be a very reliable for a DD and are good performance wise... just my .02

I agree...you should sell it to me. that looks like a good cam for a 6.0 reg cab truck w/a turbo.
