starting problem help!!!

Default starting problem help!!!

I put a new fuel pump in my truck to try and fix a hard starting bug however it did not fix the problem. when you start it it will either start and quit or start but ideal real low and ideal up slowly.i have a preadator scaner but im not sure what to check. there is no stored codes. help me

Kinda sounds like a vacumm leak. If you put it in gear does it slowly build speed and even shift to 2nd while your foot is off the gas? Did the problem get worse after the fuel pump install? Did you replace the fuel filter as well?

Could be a crank or cam sensor.

Or possibly a sticking IAC valve or leaking fuel pressure regulator. Try cleaning the throttle body and check the vacuum hose to the fp reg for the presence of fuel. If there's gas in that vacuum line, the reg is leaking and needs replacement. (fp reg is located in th middle of the driver's side fuel rail)
