The past two afternoons, when I start my engine, the engine revs higher than idle (I hear it) and then back down. It's enough that I temporarily freak thinking it will keep going up. I have a 2001 Tahoe 5.3L with a Whipple. I would place this in the normal engine section, but since I have a Whipple, you never know.

Mine has done the samething a few times and I also have a Whipple.

 

I have a magnacharger and mine does the same thing. I think it has something to do with the larger injectors. It should not be a big deal.
