Unhappy Stalling problem

I start my truck in the morning, warms up. Put it in drive and she dies. Get it going, feather the throttle to get going and get to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill and it stalls again. Pulled the PPIII programming and still does the same thing. Where do I start looking?

does it idle ok in park? if not, try beating on your EGR a bit, it MAY be stuck open. look/listen for vacuum leaks. put your stock MAF back on. have you done anything to it recently?

It seems to idle OK in park but only at about 400 RPM. If I try to drive it right away after starting the idle is all over the place and I have to take it up to 1000 RPM and hold for about 15-30 seconds until it will settle down. I have not made any changes recently at all. I have not swapped out the MAF. I can definately try that. I haven't noticed and vacuum leaks but I will check it out and listen a little closer. You are right, the EGR could be stuck. Thanks for the advice. Will post back once I have tried these.
