I dunno...but at least you have an option (changing motor mounts)....if mine don't fit, I may be trying 03 2wd motor mounts or I may be screwed. My gut's telling me they'll fit...but I have no choice but to think positive at this point.

Why the hell did they change mounts?? I dont understand? What changed on the frames?? All I figured they did on the 4wd was the addition of the t-case and torsion bars. And even that doesnt move the motor up or down does it?? Did the frames change in 03 or something.... Sounds wierd to me now.

I'd love to see pics of bare frames side by side....I actually saw a pic of an 02 bare frame somewhere a while back...might have been on GMTrucks...

Not sure what's different about the HD frame, but according to 97AGGIE, they fit an 02 hd 2wd: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...StainlessWorks

The motor mounts may be a little diff for 4wds to clear the oil pan on the t-case.

Well hell I dont know what the light and heavy duty frame differences are. If they fit on 97Aggies 2wd, then it surely has the same mounts as my truck. Slow, what ya think? Grippy, any other ideas? Stainless Works cant tell me much.

Ill tell you this when I had my motor out and looked at the motor mounts they looked the same to me as mjhowards motor mounts for his 05 2wd truck nothing that caught my eye.
