Default stainless works headers for 2500HD 6.0

I have looked long and far, the only headers I have found are shortys. Stainless works is sending me headers for the half ton trucks to try, they said that sombody found they worked well on a 03 2500HD with 6.0, so I am going to try them out. Has anybody else delt with this?

Yea I hope, I am getting it ready for farm truck pulls at the county fair, the truck has a radix kit only, the rest of the truck is bone stock. Best 1/4 time is 14.7 on smokin bfg all terrains. I let a buddy make a couple of passes in it while I waited at the trap, sounded like the exhaust was blowing thru a garden hose.

I plan on running for the pulls open headers with 12" of pipe off the collectors. I hope that will be enough pipe for good o2 numbers for closed loop op. maybe more, I will see when they are on.

yea I really would like to go hoodless with pipes like the real pulling trucks, but i figured that might be a little over the top for the street

They are on they fit perfectly sw needs to list these for hd applications for sure. Ran open headers for 1 day took wife for blast, she said it was like sustained gunfire. since I kinda like her around I finished the exhaust today, no cats just 2 3" pipes to 1 flowmaster single 3.5" side exit. With the LT's on and the maggie now I need a cam any suggestions?
