Default Stage 8 Locking Bolts

I bought locking header bolts from summit last week. I recieved 12 normal retainers (pictured left) and 4 bent retainers (pictured right). What is the purpose of the 4 bent retainers? Thanks in advance! Sorry for the noob question!

The bent one go on the 4 bolts that are too far away from a primary for the normal locks to hit. The bent one go on with the point inward so the lock against the flange. I just put mine on today. Here is a picture that shows them. The farthest one you can see on the left is one of the bent ones.

This is the best I can do right now. The one on the left is a bent one and the bent part is on the bottom of the flange right above the spark plug.
