Alright..First system was Cats deleted and Flowmaster 40 Dual Chamber in place of the Factory muffler.....sounded great but holy crap did it drone you out of the cab on the Highway.

So we switched to a x pipe right infront of where the factory muffler was and put Dynomax Bullets blow thru style on it and over the axle dumped,I do plan on going back and dumping in the bed corners. (Wanted to make sure the drone in the cab was gone)

Now the drone in the cab on the Highways gone, but doesnt sound very good...

I had a TSP x pipe w these same Dynomax Bullet mufflers on my 99 Firehawk and it sounded Amazing!

On the truck how ever Im highly disappointed......what the heck to do..

 

No drone/sound good/catless theres really only one good option, Corsa. I have a pair of Borlas on my truck run back to back and it sounds great with LTs and no cats but there is a little bit of drone, not bad enough to not be able to have a conversation in the truck at highway speeds but definitely more than I had with my Corsa.

 

I found a factory SS muffler and Im about to put it back on and be done w it and sell both systems...

Im wondering how the factory muffler is gonna sound w the cats deleted...

 

I have heard long tubes with deleted cats on a SSS with factory catback and it sounded pretty good imo.
