Default SS Muffler

I'm looking for a muffler to fit a SSS the only muffler I could find with a dual 2.75 in was a flowmaster 50 series. my friend had it on his truck and I didn't really like the sound. Oh yeah i'm looking for a dual out also.

Magnaflow doesn't have it?
Or you could run dual single i/o round Mag's. I love mine! It sounds like a boat up til 3000rpm.

The odd thing about the stock SS muffler is that the inlets both are center/center, but the outlet side is one center/one offset. Any dual in/out standard muffler isn't a direct swap without customizing it.

The ONLY one I've found as a direct replacement PERFORMANCE muffler for the SS is Pro-Flow. You should be able to find them in a google search. They have 3 series of mufflers, stock sound (or close to it), medium performance sound, or loud. Many of their dealers are local muffler shop nation wide. Look up the part number online, then contact the local dealer to order them. I believe they are about $250, which is spendy, but you take into consideration that nothing else needs to be modified for pipes and the cost is rather reasonable.

Stainless Specialities will build you a 304 SS muffler to your specs, can even control the sound level.

I had wanted to run 2 pipes out the side, in front of the rear tire...like the lightings. I have a 2500hd, but was going to buy OBX headers for the SSS. So then I was going to need a muffler with 2.75 inlets or get some reducers to make it 3". But now it looks like I won't be doing any exhaust work as my money is going into finally installing the radix in my garage
