How did the header instal go?

Corvette Servo is easy. You have to remove the heat shield which are 2 10mm bolts IIRC. Then use a prybar to push down on the cover and pry off the snap ring with a screw driver. Pull it out piece by piece and replace the parts. I think there are quite a few good stickys on gmfs. Make sure that when you put the cover back on that the snap ring is fully seated.

If you download the video here it shows a good step by step how to remove it and take it apart.

install went amazing. easiest thing i've done on the truck so far. did it on friday. cut the stock stuff off with a sawzall. soaking the manifold bolts everyday in pb blaster definitely helped as well. all of my bolts came out smooth except my drivers rear one which was already broken from factory. the bolt was below the head so i didn't want to mess with it. along with the new factory manifold gaskets, i used copper rtv. the percey's locking bolt were a great choice too. top notch bolt. fitment was perfect too. didn't hit anywhere.

i'll to look on gmfs for those sticky's thanks. would def feel better with some step by step instructions.

Just double check to make sure you get the snap ring in place, firmly seated. I though I had mine firmly seated, but checked it a second time and it wasn't.

It might be rubbing up against the frame or trans cross member. Did you use the clamps it came with?

i remember it rubbing against the trans or trans heat shield. i totally forgot about it until i heard something rattling. the clearance was good everywhere else. nope, bought 4 stainless steel band clamps. the only thing i used was the headers and y itself. used gm gaskets and percey's locking bolts.

hmm did you tighten the y pipe clamps first and then bolt it to the cat back?

I would loosen all of the clamps, connect the ball flange to the cat back and then tighten up the y pipe and adjust it so it doesnt rub anywhere.
