Default Spring change?

How long will aftermarket springs hold up? I have had the 918's in there for ~10K and wonder how long they last with the GT2-3 cam?

They've got to wear with use, huh

I've had the 26918 springs for well over 10,000 miles (probably 20,000 miles). I look at them as being at least as durable as the factory springs.

Well i think lift would have a bearing on longevity, the LPE GT2-3 has a .571/.578" lift.

i think that as long as you let the truck warm up before mobbin on it they should last. being a stiffer spring they are more inclined to snap when cold. my .02

Donno about the cold start thing but I suppose it could possibly happen if the spirngs were cold enough.
We have over 85,000 miles on a .559" lift cam here. They're a pretty solid spring all in all.
I've just started using the Manley beehives and I really like them. They have over 25lbs more seat pressure and 35lbs more nose pressure than the 918's.

Look on Tech... Guys seem to change out 918's alot because they get weak. Thats why I decided not to use 918's back when I did the cam in my 99.
