I am looking to put in a mini spool in my truck. An auburn 8.5 30 spline is the correct one right? Also my truck has 3.42's I was thinking of putting in a mini spool and the 4.10's ,but have been thinking that I could leave the 3.42's and put in a tb convertor. Which would be the best route?

Do you drive this truck on the street? If you do, then DO NOT put a spool in it. It will tear up your axles in no time. If you want the strength and positive locking of both wheels then go with a Detroit Locker. Leave the spools to the race cars.
