Default spinning problem

I know every one talks about how much hp or tq they have. But thats not doing much good if all your doing is spinning. I plan on putting in a EAton and 3:73s tomorrow and figure I will still have a spinning problem because I will probably be spraying out tha hole. I work at a drag strip and have worked there for over 5 years. Seen lots of people with street cars and trucks that wont do anything but spin like crazy. I know lots of people so with slicks and helps. But what about the street? Drag radials right? But I was also wondering what some of you guys do about suspension??? any one here running traction bars? what about a 4-link? ect. Also wanna put about some Drag radials on my stock rim. Thinking of going with some 60's what you guys think?

The Eaton will definately help, from what I hear(mine's on the way ). I run the drag radials on the street and they hook pretty good. GMCski and 2toneblown are both running coilover setups, so you might want to do a search on them. I'm also going with a similar setup. They say the traction bars really help out wheel hop more than spinning. I'm running BF Goodrich Drag radials 255/50/r16s on a set of stock Tahoe wheels. I was running those and the stock g80 when I got my 12.67. I mainly got them to run on the street, and they seem to do the job there.

So how do the 50's look on the rim? I heard that the 50's will bow out pretty far?

how much are you spraying out of the whole as well you might try to keep whell spin to a minimum by getting a nitrous controller and having it bring in your nitrous slowly

i would look into a stall convertor and a two stage N20 kit... should help out the launch alot.

as far as the tires and suspension go, they help alot too, but upgrading the suspension could cost a pretty penny to do it right.

i'm running stock all-terrain tires. so that doesn't help much. you might have better luck with a low profile tire
