Default Spark Plug Question

Here goes. Changed the plugs in my truck yesterday. About a year ago had the original plugs in and had some clatter/ knock at 3000 to 4000 rpms, so I changed them to the Bosch Platinum 4+. Problem solved. So I decided to try the Ngk TR55's yesterday. Drove with them today for about 115 miles today and noticed that the knock/ clatter was back. They are gapped at 0.55. Any suggestions. Put the Bosch back in? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

Taylor 8.5mm wires. I have heard that the Bosch are really not that good, but those are the ones that worked the best.

You know... This is how you can check everything...

Start the truck... with it running, giggle each of the spark plugs by the boot of the wires and see if there is any reaction.. it'll feel like when you put two magnets togetther. If you feel that than its how the plug fits into its hole.. if you feel like a shock in your hand.. and you'll know it when you feel it.. than its the wires... and thats the "dummies" way how to do it.. not very accurate.. you may have a coil problem...

although.. you also said the Bosch's worked.. so i have no idea.. but try that.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I will try gapping them a little smaller, and see what happens, then go from there.
