Default Spark plug color?

I am going to be pulling my spark plugs to check for lean fuel. I don't know what colors I am looking for. Does anyone know what color is lean, rich and what normal opperation looks like?

Many thanks

grey and melted is bad

I think reading plugs is like taking a picture. When you turn off the spark that is the picture you get. Therefore turning off the engine at idle can look way different than turning off during a hard pull.
